Wow you really have a nice load of activities. All that are very impressive and not of the norm. I would say yes! I also love Yale do you mind chancing me?

Wow, definitely qualified. SAT and test scores are very impressive and so is your leadership… and your talents. Why’d you even post? Lol.

Don’t worry about having no AP’s in freshman year… my school doesn’t allow them either.

They look at your courses in the context of your school. So I think you should be fine even though you didn’t take any honors freshmen year.

Thanks guys! and mcknight95 yeah I’ll chance you!

Outstanding. You chose one interest (Music/Arts), and you stuck with it. When applying, leave EVERYTHING else not related to this interest. If you would like to know more, see my thread “Tips for Yale” on the Yale forum.

I disagree with this comment. While it is good to show focused ECs, that does not mean you have to present that interest exclusively.

entomom,
Looking back at my post, yes I did make a mistake. Here’s what I say to the OP. Pick 2-3 subjects that interest you. THEN leave off everything else.

To be blunt, you are like a good 75% of the applicant pool in that you are competitive and likely qualified, but nonetheless unlikely to get in. Not because you are inferior, but because that is the implication of an acceptance rate in the 6-8% range.

I respectfully disagree. Being a Lebanese female with that many accomplishments is a pretty big hook.
