Please CHANCE me!!!!!!

i guys!!
Im originally from Germany and attended solely (!) a german school system. My Abitur was good, I had a grade of 2,3 which would get me into almost every university here in Germany. I took the TOEFL because some universities want me to apply as international, I had a score of 104 in total, 29 in speaking and 25 on the writing, listening and reading part. I guess thats okay, but my SAT sucked!!! I had 1640 in total, 520 in writing, 540 in reading and 580 in math (I know...rotten...) Some universities want me to apply as a domestic student and want only the SAT others want me to submit both the SAT and the TOEFl. What are my chances now of getting into a good college?? I really have no idea ... I am bilingual, grew up speaking both german and english fluently. I also am attending a apprenticeship at a ballet academy at the moment, would that be worth noticing in the admission process? I also completed 3 internships in the social and community service area.
Here are some of the Universities I want to apply to:
NYU
DePaul University
UW Madison
CU Boulder
Michigan Ann Arbor

so... I know this sounds completely stupid and out of reach but I want to take the SAT again and up until then I will study hard to get a better score, because the first time i took i I didnt study anything at all and I had a score of 1500, the second time I studied for a week and got 1640. I guess that was an "okay" improvement. Im sure I can do better if I study more! Do you think it would be possible that I attend CU Boulder (for example) and then transfer to a better school, like stanford or University of Chicago? I know, my scores have to improve drastically for this move but I will work hard!

thanks for taking your time and reading this!!! have a great day,
Claire

I suppose a German 2,3 is 3.7+ in the US…

UMI: Reach
NYU: Reach
DePaul: Low match
UWI: Reach (but lower than NYU)
CU-Boulder: Low match

If you put your act together at, say, CU-Boulder, you may transfer at USC (that requires 3.7+) or better…

I have an idea. Frankly, I think that out of all the schools with high acceptance rates (80%+,) UC Boulder is the best academically and socially. It’s very liberal, and very beautiful in Boulder (I’ve been there.) I would recommend applying to schools at the echelon of UC Boulder (maybe UMBC, U Michigan [although that may be a bit beyond these schools,] etc…) and then do a transfer, like Catria mentioned. If you succeed at Boulder, or a school of the like, it is easy to do a transfer to USC, a UC, NYU, etc… the possibilities are endless!

Chance me back :)

I would suggest you retake the SAT and further broaden your list. At this point in time, most of these schools look reaches (except maybe Madison and Boulder)
