It's on their website, nd.edu. Go to admissions, and then to pre-college programs I think. I need to talk to my counselor about it tomorrow actually. You have to get some letters of recommendation and I believe there's an essay portion. I hope that helps. Sorry for the late reply, I've been on holiday.

To the sophomores: Don't focus so much on 1 school right now. It is good to have an idea of what kind of school you like, make a list of what you like about Notre Dame then try and find those characteristics in other schools. Right now, you guys need to be assembling a list of schools you want to research more/apply to. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Also, have some fun, or all you'll remember about high school when you're in college is that you were always thinking ABOUT college.

or just do what I do, make a list of everything you hate about Notre Dame...just in case you get rejected

I am a senior in high school and my lifetime dream was Boston College. Unfortunately, had I tried harder freshman year, I could of had a shot. But no. I kept telling myself, "It's okay I can try harder next year" TRY AS HARD AS POSSIBLE. Take the SATS and ACT in March of your junior year and May if you need to. Apply early!

hahaha hawaiiboy good idea!
oh and thanks guys!

The other day my high school did a quick overview of our instate colleges. It was also some kind of SAT preparation meeting. But I was wondering if they were using this as some kind of scare tactic. They went through your two basic colleges IU and Purdue, which seemed harder to get into than I thought. 3.5 for IU, really? But anyways, they said that no one got admitted to Notre Dame last year with a GPA lower than 4.0. Obviously from looking on this site students did gain admission with a lower GPA. They also said no one got in with an SAT score lower than 2000. That seemed a little blown out of proportion. If that's true I'm going to need to buckle down and study for my SATs. Does anyone know whether they were right or not?

im sure they were just bluffing
