Hey, thank you.
So I go to a really good prep school, sends like 40 percent of students to ivys + stanford and such every year. Not many ap classes, very low grade inflation, no ranking.

So: gpa = 3.44, with upward trend, my jr gpa was a 3.6
Sats: 1470/2200 (740,730,730)
Sat ii: Math 1 - 690, US History - 710

Extras - generally solid. 3 sport varsity athlete, 2 club leader, paid (yeahh) internship at local nj hospital during the summer, and an editor of the newspaper are the highlights.

I should have solid recs.

I am not a legacy, I have no intentions of playing any sports at ND, and I am not a minority.
Still, here is the million dollar question: what are my chances?

Your cumulative GPA isn’t terrible for ND but it looks to be a weak spot as of now. To be competitive you need to try to up it as best you can this coming semester. Everything else seems fine. It might not hurt to get another extra curricular activity under your belt this summer.

just wondering, have you taken any APs? Have you thought of self-studying some?
SAT seems good.
Make sure you really devote a lot of time to improving one of your activities (really get involved in one particular one, while stilling participating in others)

I took the US History AP and the English AP, we can still take the AP test even though my school doesn’t offer classes. I haven’t gotten the results back yet, but I think I got two 4s.

I went to a similar prep school, had a very similar GPA, am an ORM, had slightly higher SAT scores, and was accepted EA. Apply early to show interest, that may increase your chances. ND seems like a mid-range school for you…its a toss-up.
