Please chance me!

What do you think my chances are?

female
Puerto Rican
Pennsylvania
GPA: 3.93 unweighted
SAT: CR-730, Math-730, Writing-770
ACT: 33
AP: Chem, Bio, World History, US History, French
Honors: Chemistry, English, Euro History
I take all the AP honors classes my school because it is so small (16 in my graduating class and we’re considered a large class) offers but my AP scores and SAT II scores weren’t good because I always freeze up on big tests. My school is also affiliated with a college so I’ll have taken three classes there by the time I graduate.

Focus on demonstrating your leadership!

Wow, I'm tired just reading your resume; when do you have time to breathe?
And yes, I can tell by your SAT scores that you "freeze up" with big tests :).

I would say excellent chance, you have great stats, URM, geographical diversity, active person; like the other poster said, look at showcasing how you are a leader.

In case you didn't know already, CMC has a full tuition scholarship for people who double major with science; did you already apply?

I applied by Dec. 1 to be considered for any scholarships at all. I'm unsure about what I want to do so I applied undecided even though I may end up double majoring in a science. But I was so unsure about it I didn't want to take the chance.

I think you're in! :)

That scholarship is full; to apply for it you need to put 1 of your majors as a science; you look like you would be a good candidate; take a look at the science majors and see what you think and if you want to apply, call admissions.

the deadline was December 1?

yeah, it was

it was December 1 if you wanted to be considered for the Seaver Leadership Scholarship (full tuition) or a McKenna Achievement Award ($10,000 per year)

merit scholarship deadline 12-1, including the new interdisciplinary science award

you have a great shot. like the first dude said, emphasize leadership as much as possible. best of luck!
