<p>Hi there, I was just wondering if you could rank me for the following schools:
1) Stanford
2) Carnegie Mellon
3) UCLA</p>

<p>I think everything looks good except my SAT Score which I'm taking it again. If you don't mind read my stats and then once finished chance me as follows.</p>

<p>1) Stanford: (Yes or No) if No please tell me why
2) Carnegie Mellon (Yes or No) if No please tell me why
3) UCLA: (Yes or No) if No please tell me why</p>

<p>Comment: you can tell me anything you want and or you can suggest more schools to me. I want to major in Electrical and Computer Engineering.</p>

GPA: 3.8 UW 4.4 w
Class Rank: 4/351
Ethnicity: Iranian
Gender: Male</p>

<p>SAT I: 1850 (450 writing, 800 math, 600 critical reading) (very poor I know!!! I am practicing right now, and hopefully I will reach my goal which is atleast 2200)</p>

<p>SAT II: Math II 750 </p>

<p>AP Courses offered at our high school: Spanish, French, Calculus AB, Eng. Language, Eng. Literature, and Biology.</p>

<p>AP Courses that I have taken/will take:
11th: English Language and Composition, US History
12th: English Literature, Macroeconomics, Physics B, Calculus AB, and Statistics, US Government</p>

<p>your gpa is solid, ecs are good not great, but a 450 writing?? im sorry but that will really hurt your chances at those schools. the 800 math is good but id retake math II and try for 800/ take some in science like chem or phys. chance me back?</p>

<p>Stanford- **** No. Your EC’s are weak, your SAT’s are extremely lacking. My cousin got into Stanford and had a 2390 SAT. You shouldn’t be considering Stanford, no offense.
UCLA-No. You’re not from the state of California. Your SAT’s are extremely lacking.
Carnegie Mellon-Maybe, it’s a reach. Your in if you get SAT’s up to 2200.</p>

<p>and btw I don’t think you should apply at UCLA or Stanford at all. Just my opinion.</p>

<p>Stanford and CMU are hardly a reach for you. UCLA maybe, if you retake the SAT and end with a score about 2150.</p>

<p>But you seem like a strong dude with good work ethic, so study your butts off for that SAT…</p>
