Now comes the most important part-- the schools I want to be chanced for.

Harvard
MIT
U Penn
U Chichago
U Mich
Duke
NYU
Carnegie Mellon
Georgetown
Boston U

I seems your records are not so bad.

Sorry but even if you were a major minority Boston University would be the only school on that list where you have more than 40 % chance of getting in. Look i know im going to get a lot of “you’re so discouraging, he at least has a little chance,” but I think you don’t have a chance in heck for Harvard MIT Penn or chicago. Carnegie mellon and georgetown you have a 2% chance in…

My cousin was rejected to Stanford, Harvard, MIT, Penn, Chicago, Berkeley and he had a perfect 4.0 Unweighted and 4.6 Weighted, 2250 SAT (which frankly is a lot higher than yours) and many years of band and track and cross country. Now he did get into UCSD, UCLA, but those have 20% acceptance rate (although they are the best schools). but you are still a junior, so if you get straight A’s (and I hope you had straight a’s your first two years) and just retake the test, you will have a chance.

(and I hope you had straight a’s your first two years) and just retake the test

Are you talking about the SATs?

I think he has a great shot at Michigan, NYU, CMU and BU. Maybe a couple of the others. Full pay from Burma is atypical.

are they you’re predicted grades or have you now actually got them ?
I applied last year to schools like that not realising how tough it actually is with similar stats. Do NOT underestimate safety schools. There are alot of great schools that aren’t top 20. I’m not saying don’t apply, go for it and good luck ! However it’s better to get places and turn them down than to end up without any.

GOOD LUCK  x
