Please chance will chance back

Chance me please
Hi! I go to a private high school in Turkey. In the Turkish system, we had to take an exam before going to high school. And I am in a school where the student with the lowest score on the exam was in 99th percentile, so we are all geniuses lol. I am saying this because my GPA is not so high and that is the reason. I am hoping to do an econ degree.

SAT: 2390 (790 on writing)
Subject Tests: 800 on Maths 2, 790 on Literature
TOEFL 677/677 paper-based
GPA: 88 (in Turkish Education system grades are shown with a 1-5 system and 85+ is 5.0)
99.5th Percentile nationally in MSOS (turkish high school exam)
Rank: school doesnt reveal but not in the top 3
AP: english, programming in Java, Statistics, Calculus BC, geometry, english writing (all 5)
French and German at B2 level
Also I have taken classes which are not in the Turkish Education System:

Really passionate at Economics, started reading about it at 13.

Could you please clarify about your work at Sabanci University? You said it is a private college. If you were enrolled there, unfortunately Princeton will likely not be an option for you as they do not accept transfer students [Eligibility | Princeton University](<a href=“http://www.princeton.edu/admission/applyingforadmission/faq/eligibility/]Eligibility | Princeton”>http://www.princeton.edu/admission/applyingforadmission/faq/eligibility/). Otherwise your outline looks really good and competitive for Princeton.

I went there for summer school at high school.

You should definitely apply if you are interested! Good luck!

Sounds like a competitive international app

Bump!!!

FWIW Princeton has a very strong computer science department…I don’t agree that Berkeley is “ten times better”. Both are very selective schools. Apply to a broad range which includes very selective/reach schools as well as some safeties.

Is there anyıne that could actually tell my chances?

@OP the answer is actually “no”. No one can tell you your chances unfortunately. Or perhaps the more accurate answer is “about 7%” (the overall admission rate). As mentioned above, your outline looks competitive but beyond that everything we say is entirely conjecture. Every year admission results are posted on CC and there are surprises across the board as to who was offered admission and who was not. All anyone on this forum can really tell you is whether you are comparable to other applicants who have gained admission in the past.

I hope you apply and are successful in the application process! Good luck!
