I am currently a junior at a respectable public high school. I'm a white male, from an upper middle class family. I will most likely be applying regular decision. ND is my top choice, and has been my dream school since I could walk. I know a handful of alumni, but I don't think that is of any importance. Please give me an honest chance, and provide any constructive criticism that would improve my application.

P.S.
According to my school's Naviance page on ND, I am just below the average GPA and am bordering on the average SAT.

Hey! I think you got a shot to get into Notre Dame. I recommend applying RD because EA is so competitive and if that GPA is a regular gpa (not weighted) you would be a lower 25% which means you still have a chance, but if you could improve your reg gpa by a point so 3.7/3.75 you would be in the mid 50% which in my opinion gives you even a greater chance of getting in which who doesn’t like having a greater chance? As for your SAT go ahead and take it again, if you can get a 2200 that would be great cause according to my naviance (I go to a private school) the average sat is 2150 so if you could pull that off that would be great. As for extracurriculars I think your set and i would maybe see if you can improve your class rank by just 5% because if you could get in the top 10% again, it would improve your chances even more of getting into your dream school. Wish the best to you and I hope you get in. I’m a huge ND fan and I’m applying next year too and each day that passes by I get more anxious of knowing whether I will get in or not.

By the end of senior year I will have taken 4 APs out of a possible 7. The only reason I am not taking an AP language course is because I take Mandarin Chinese, which has no available AP classes at my high school. Also, at our school we can only take a max of two AP classes junior year.
