My PreCalc and Economics teachers both really like me and can get them to write good letters of recommendation.

ACT: 33, writing 10.

I am looking to apply to the University of Illinois at Springfield, for a bachelor's in Economics.

Please chance for illinois main campus as well, please, plus syracuse university if possible, thanks.

What is interesting is that you scored very well on the ACT but have very low grades :(. I dont know if this has something to do with your high school…is it like the nations hardest? or just regular? Anyway, this tells (at least to me) that you are very smart but dont “apply” yourself in the classroom. From this I’d say that both syracuse and main are reaches, you can probably get into Springfield.

Chance back:

Thanks for the response.
Yeah, you pretty much have it right. I just didn’t care about schoolwork my first two years 'cause it didn’t have much immediate affect on me. I wish I had considered the implications for college earlier -_-.

You will not be able to get into UofI with a 2.6 GPA. Sorry, but it’s the truth. Good luck elsewhere.
