please give me advice on this major

<p>i hope you guys can give me some advice please. my parents are pushing me (well kind of) to major in public health. i'm okay with it though since i myself want to do something health related and eventually apply for med school. but i really don't know much about public health, can you guys give me more info on it? </p>

<p>is it okay for med school?
any experiences?
types of classes you'd take?
and let's just say if i unfortunately don't make it to med school, what jobs can i do with this major? </p>

<p>Really, don't major in sth you don't like. You don't want to waste four year of your life doing stuff that you might hate. Don't let your parents pressure you.</p>

<p>Couldn't have said it better myself. Four years is a long time to be unhappy. It's even longer when you aren't doing well in your classes because you hate them.</p>
