I am very interested in dance colleges. However, I am not very familiar with ballet techniques. I am more used to jazz and hip hop and groovy styles of dances. I did 4 years of dance in high school for fun. Are there any colleges that provide hip hop dance programs specifically? PLEASE HELP !!!
Check out Columbia College Chicago. Their dance department is contemporary-oriented (and there’s a BA in dance which is less intensive than the BFA) and they have a hip-hop studies minor.

Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania might.
If you’re a casual dancer, do you want a minor in dance or a strong group you can participate in in top of a major (in theater, English, or whatever)?
What’s your current GPA (w, UW)? Anybtest scores?
Are you attending a us high school? What year are you in?
