I was hoping somebody could help me answer a question. I was told for quite a while now I don't want a degree in Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. On the other hand I have been looking at management positions in my field I work in. They require 1. High school diploma 2. A&P 3. Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. I hold all but the 3rd Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. I was wounding if it would be a wise degree to get. I was also wondering is a online school like ITT Tec will do the job or what type of school or degree I should look at thank you for the help

Do not get an UG degree on line it’s generally looked down upon by employees. A BBA is a great route to be success in the business world, I am wondering what is your hesitation.

Ok I’m dumb at this what is a UG degree and what is a BBA degree and can the BBA be done online

UG = undergraduate degree. BBA = Bachelors Degree in Business Administration

agree with previous poster, waste of time and money to get an online degree if you want most companies to give it any credibility

Hi and welcome to College Confidential! A bachelor’s degree in business administration is a great degree to earn. I am a senior BSBA student (bachelor of science in business administration) and can tell you I have gotten my time and money’s worth with the program. But, an online degree isn’t a great idea because of the potential lack of accreditation (make sure the program is AACSB or ACBSP accredited) and the obvious lack of resources. On-campus classes allow you to ask questions immediately when something doesn’t click. And for people like me, visual learning is fostered better with white/blackboards and face-to-face interaction.

I also am looking to enter a management occupation upon graduation. If this is really your desired field then you have chosen an excellent degree program. I have even seen some management training positions that will require the bachelor’s degree. And no do not go to ITT Tech or any other for-profit college or university. Find an affordable public university in your state to attend. If room and board for 4 years is too much I might suggest spending 2 or 3 semesters on campus and THEN doing the other classes as a mix of online and in-person. I bring up two or three semesters because some colleges have residency requirements for graduation, always check with your advisor about these issues.

You’re doing the right thing. =D> You’re considering a program that is high supply and high demand. There are many graduates of that subject but there are many relevant jobs available. It is middle of the road difficulty compared to other college degrees in my opinion.

If you need any advice on business courses or the degree program itself I will be happy to assist you.

Are you looking for a full Time or PT program? Are you over 24? Do you have ant college units yet?

I am confused who is telling what you want or don’t want? If a company has a clear requirement, that is straightforward, yes?

Does the company you work for have tuition reimbursement and how much?
