Business Management & Administration as a major....

I live outside of the United States and wish to continue studying through online Universities.
I graduated from High school back in 2000 and ever since I have been working in many companies and have gained alot of valuable experiences ranging from showroom sales, sales in egenral and working as an assistant to a General Manager at a very reuptable company that is an authorized reseller for Apple Computer products here in the Middle East.

I have had many issues trying to decide what i want to study because i really want to obtain a bachelors degree so i can have a better career and most of all a much better pay.

Since I have been involved and around work that is related to sales I figured the smart thing to do is go with Business Administration & Management studies because I wish to be a GM one day.

What are your thoughts on this? What kind of feedback can you give me? What can i possibly take as a minor if I choose this as a major?

And my only gateway to continuing studies is via online..

Many thanks in advance.

A BBA is a good choice. Also look into Operations Research and Industrial Engineering, they give a good foundation. Coupled with an MBA, which can be earned online, you will have a very good education to lead to a GM.

Good minors; philosophy, statistics, psychology, any other program that can show you developing your "soft" skills.

Have you talked to your GM about this? Is he/she approachable about it? If so, they may be able to offer some good advice.
