Hi guys, I am an international student and I going to begin my study at Carleton College from this fall. I am really interested in studying medicine and I planning of doing pre-med. But, from what Ive heard, US medical schools rarely accept any international students in the medical programs, and even if they accept few (which is a very rare case), there are no financial aids and/or loans available for the international students what so ever. Does anyone here know of any international student (Carl or not) who went on to medical school? I would be really grateful if anyone could provide any further information related to this topic. Thanks!

You might do better posting this on a pre-med thread elsewhere on CC

Or email Carleton’s pre-med advisor directly (pmiddlet@carleton.edu). Or, take a deep breath, enjoy your summer, and meet her in the fall:)

Ah! After 300+ views, someone finally commented! Thanks for your advice. I have already posted this in other pre-med threads. I just wanted to hear the voices of some previous Carls who were in the same shoes as of mine (or who know/knew somebody in the similar situation as of mine).
