Please Help: College Application

I started my common application on-line after hearing that most colleges prefer on-line applications. But, I wasn't sure if I could send in additional things like a resume or a recording of my piano pieces. The website says not to mix on-line and mailing application, but I'm just sending in supplements, so I wasn't sure if I applied to that case.

It will be greatly appreciated if there is anyone who can answer to my question! Thank you so much:)

This question would probably be better placed in the "Common App" sticky. To answer your questions, you can upload additional documents/type it in in the Additional Info section. A recording would be something that you mail in. You can always check with the particular admissions office if you are uncertain.

Regarding Post#1,
the common app will have Arts supplements for your college or a generic
common app arts supplement. once you have submitted the main common app
you will get a common app id# at the bootom of your form.

Refer to this or print out the supplement from your online
account. fill this form and mail it in with your recording or
slide of artwork etc.

Supplements are fine. What they mean by avoiding mixing online and paper applications is that they don't want you to send Part 1 of the application (usually the part with your biographical info) online, and then sending Part 2 (with your essays and such) by mail.
