does anyone know of any really good sources of information (online or in hard copy) regarding excellent pre-med colleges in America - discussing college regions that have a definite pre-med focus, statistics for specific colleges, ratings, rankings, that sort of thing. Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>Perhaps you should try the pre med forum, there are a lot of knowledgable posters on there. I hould mention that it is hard to qualify a "good" pre med school (though there are some constants, such as placement rate, etc.).</p>
<p>I think it is safe to say that all the top-tier colleges might offer good pre-med academic preparation, depending on your major. Some have better pre-med advising than others. The percent who get into med school is deceving because they weed out marginal candidates before the med school application stage.</p>
