First off: I am a girl looking for a college that fits the following characteristics:
small class sizes, urban location, a wide variety of courses and majors to choose from, little to no Greek life, not pre-professional, good advising program, coed.

The list of schools I definitely want to apply to (alphabetical order):
Brown University
UC Berkeley
Columbia College
University of Chicago
Harvard University
McGill University
Pomona College
Stanford University

The list of schools I am considering:
Boston University
UC Santa Barbara
UC Santa Cruz
Colorado College
New College of Florida
Northeastern University
Pitzer College
Reed College
University of Toronto
Wesleyan University
One of the SUNYs? (I am a NY student but I don't know which SUNY would be best for me)

Honestly I am clueless when it comes to college selection. I know that my stats are reasonably good (35 ACT, 4.0 GPA, 2270 SAT etc - as if it actually matters & this whole thing isn't a lottery) but at the same time I know this list is too long and too selective. My parents refuse to believe that I have any need for "safeties" so their input is pretty useless. Anyway just looking for help here because I really need to define my list soon/receive a reality check.
