So I applied early decision to Boston University, which I should be hearing back from in the next few days (eek!!) but its probably a good idea to start thinking about the possibility that I won't get in there because my school guidance system has early deadlines for completed supplements so that the counselors can look over them and help make them perfect for the actual deadline. I'm having a hard time finding safety schools that I would actually be satisfied going too next year.
I don't need to be right in the center of a city like BU is, but I would like to at least be near one, I go stir crazy when I feel stuck and isolated on campus. I'm open to schools of any size, so long as they are not extremely tiny or extremely huge. I'm interested primarily in musicolgy/music non-performance (I hope to go into something like music therapy or recreational therapy after college). I would like to live on campus, so I'm not really interested in suitcase schools, and I prefer to be on the east coast (northeast and southeast are both fine). Also open to both public and private universities.
Money is, thankfully, not really a concern.
here are my stats:
Female, Jewish HS Senior from NY (so basically exactly what colleges are not looking for lol)
UnWeighted GPA: 90 up until Junior year, but my first quarter senior grades were an 89 so that brings it down a little I guess.
My SAT score was a 2050 (CR: 760 M: 580 WR: 710)
SAT 2's 680 in both reading and US history
7 AP courses throughout high school, and 1 honors class
100+ hours of community service
5 or 6 extracurriculars, 1 leadership position
We don't do class rankings but I do go to a double curriculum school (meaning we cannot take all the AP's we want because we have Judaic studies requirements to fulfill) and my class size is 102 students.

any help would be extremely appreciated! my guidance counselor has not been super helpful in this regard.
