<p>Does anyone know if someone were to receive a Stafford Loan if the government could check up on their bank account maybe to see if they have enough money to start paying it back or whatever they want to know??? I just want to know basically if I receive a government loan if they will start accessing my account!! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!</p>
<p>Any student who files the FAFSA can take out a Stafford. What you have (or don’t have) in your bank accounts doesn’t matter at all.</p>
<p>You don’t have to start repaying Stafford loans until several months after you graduate or leave college. Prior to graduation you will go through “exit counselling” about your loans and then set up a repayment plan.</p>
<p>Don’t worry, they won’t take money out of your bank.</p>
