Please help me American!(cant decide what to choose)

Hello, I am not american but I guess the jobs aren't that different from different countries.

The problem is I can't decide between choosing mechanical or civil-engineering.
I reallyreally enjoy math and physics and want a job where I use these subjects.(In this case it would be more mechanics than regular physics.)
I have read so much on the Internet, but maybe I cant find the right info.

When I read about structural engineering that seems so interesting. But I do think I could like a lot of things in mechanical engineering aswell.

Do you guys have any tips for me?, or maybe you know about something I should read to make the choice easier?
In which field do you think I will have to most use for mathematics and physics?

Well, you guessed wrong.

Your question is too vague. All I read from your post is, "I like mechanical and structural but I can't decide which one!" Without knowing your background and what your interests are, it's not that easy to help you.

Hehe sorry maybe I should have been a little clearer.
I now attend high school so I really dont know much about engineering.
When I read about civil engineering it doesnt sound so interesting, like working with infrastructure etc. doesn't seem so fun. But when I read on the department for structural engineering it seems really interesting.

What I want to find out is where I can get the most challanging job having to use mathematics and mechanics. When I read about mechanical engineering it seems like they have same things as structural engineering. At the university both can learn FEM, but the department of structural engineering has most mechanical subjects the department of mechanical engineering has more material science subjects.

To sum it all up, I would like to be an analyst doing very advanced calculations and simulations, which one would be best suited for me?
