<p>@guineagirl96 From my experience and the experiences of others around me, I have never seen that severity when copying a few math problems. Sure there are exceptions, but I think you are largely blowing this out of proportion. If the student didn’t get reported or punished, obviously, it isn’t serious at this school.</p>
<p>The incident was serious enough that the teacher told the student, directly, that it would be “better” if he found “someone else” to write the rec letter. OP, I’d take that advice. </p>
