PLEASE HELP ME NARROW DOWN MY COLLEGE LIST

I’m applying on a premed track so I prioritize these qualities.

Ample amounts of non-clinical and clinical experience, Little grade deflation,
Shadowing, Ample amounts of research, Possible internships, Good curriculum,
    Good advising

I also prioritize these general qualities.

    Good housing, good food

I want to apply to at most 12 colleges. I’m unsure if I should apply to Harvard and Yale, since the acceptance rates are so low. But anyway, here is my list.

Harvard University
Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education,
Yale University
Macaulay Honors College
Johns Hopkins University,
Brown University
New York University
Tufts University,
Brandeis University
Northeastern University
Syracuse University,
Rutgers University (New Brunswick)
University of Maryland (College Park)
SUNY University at Binghamton
SUNY University at Stony Brook

Are they all affordable?

I haven’t exactly checked yet (will soon), but I was mostly narrowing it on quality alone.

First check affordability…some schools may fall out based on finances.

“First check affordability”

The issue is that there are hundreds of universities in the US with very good premed programs. If you are looking for university with good premed the list will be way too long.

However, medical school is expensive. If you are seriously interested in medical school then you should budget for eight years of university. It is a good idea to avoid debt for undergrad if you reasonably can.

What is your home state? Do you know what your budget is?

What are your stats?

For medical school, expect to pay $400k or more, if you do get in.
