I would appreciate any help I could get in getting advice for potential colleges I should apply to based on my academics and fit. I am abit confused and I don't want to screw this up :)

If there is a certain format I am suppose to follow just let me know!(I didn't see any)

I hope I am not to late to start this process...

Academics:

GPA: 3.3 > Excluding one trimester where I got high honors so I dunno :0

Weighted GPA: 6.4

SAT: 1800s/1200s > First time, I can improve in October...

Top 20%

Poor Foreign Language grades, Good Science grades, decent math grades, decent english grades,
Extra Curriculars:

Student Council
Excellent Leadership Recommendation (my adviser told my mom she would write a good one for me)
Some other clubs/sports, the usual

Me

Race: South Asian (Indian/Pakistani)
Political Views(does this even matter?): Libertarian

Despite being crappy at sports I can win people over with my humor and uniqueness.(again, does this matter?)

Did I mention my killer smile?

Colleges

I think I want to major in Philosophy but I'm planning on going into pharmacy or dental because science is my strongest subject.

Financial Banking also seems like a satisfying career but I am having trouble gathering info on it. If anyone has links to career description, education/career path or salaries that would be very helpful!

Location: I am open to going to school anywhere in the country but my parents would prefer me to go somewhere in NE, where I reside. My State School which I am pretty sure I could easily get into is University of New Hampshire.

Hmm, this turned out longer then I expected. College is one thing I don't want to screw up! I know my grades aren't the best but now I have started to work hard and my grades have been on the climb.

If I left anything out let me know and thank you in advance for reading/posting!

If I am relying on CC too much then what should I do? I don't really trust my college counselor and my parents are kinda... lets not go there shall we?

What do I want out of college?: Fun, a solid GPA, meet free-thinking people.
