So as of now, I just finished my freshman year in the engineering school. My GPA isn't high enough to declare Biomedical Engineering (3.2), but one more semester and I know I will be there.

I have a dream of starting a company in the bioengineering/biomedical field, so thus I wanted to gain more experience/learn more about the whole finance/corporate sector. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the Entrepreneurship Certificate (CENTER FOR ENTREPRENEURSHIP), but I'm also debating taking an Economics Minor.

Can someone tell me what kind of skills I can expect to gain from taking a minor in Economics (along with a BSE in Biomedical engineering, and an Entrepreneurship Cert.)?

Will it help me understand some of the math and stuff behind financial instruments? I do a lot of research on my own, investing and stuff (like I already have a roth IRA that I put money into every month, don't laugh lol; and a TD Ameritrade account where I have some money invested in stocks)
