Please help me with my college list.

Hi I’m a rising senior and need help with my college list.
I want to major in chemical engineering
Right now Georgia Tech is the only one on my list :frowning:

-I’m an international student going to school in the US (don’t know if this matters but I’m an asian girl)

-GPA is 3.7.
I went to highschool in Korea for 9th grade so my freshmen grades are horrible. My grades improved during 10th&11th grade and got an A+ in every single subject.

-ACT:35
R-34 E-35 M-36 S-35 essay-9 (only took it once)

-Took 3 AP’s during my junior year- Calc ab, Chem and Physics (our school offers 6 and the other 3 are history/english)
The scores are not out yet.

-SAT II Math II is 800. Going to take chem&physics in Oct.

  • Member of the Beta Club, Interact Club, and National Art Honer Society. Was a member of the math club in 10th grade but it dissapeared.

-Have 60-70 volunteer hours. I teach korean to little kids at church

-Taking TOEFL next week. probably over 100.

  • My highschool is a non-rigorous small private christian school

I am thinking about penn state as a safe college.
College size does not matter as long as it is not in the middle of nowhere.
Any suggestions are welcome

Cost constraints?

@ucbalumnus Cost does not matter. Forgot to mention that

I’m not sure how you feel about cold weather, but I know a decent amount of people who have gone to the University of Michigan’s school of engineering (including chemical engineers) and it’s one of the most prestigious schools around for engineering (USNWR #7). Michigan has something like a 32% acceptance rate, so it wouldn’t be too terribly difficult to get into
