First of all, I have never taken one of the tests before and I really want to do well on Bio this year. I'm currently taking AP Biology and we use the Campbells textbook. I want to take Bio M because I prefer cells rather than ecology. Should I take the subject test for Bio when we finish cellular chapter in Biology or just wait until the AP exam and take it at the same time? Thanks!

Wait until the AP exam.

yeah, if i were you
i would wait till the AP exam

Sorry, I don’t normally piggy-back on other threads but I thought I should ask this question on a semi-relevant thread rather than making a rather trivial thread of my own. Question is:

When do you choose between E or M on the SAT? Can you look at both sections and decide from there which you want to take? Or do you have to decide before you are even administered the test?

You can decide after you look at both sections. Do the one that seems easier to you
I always thought I was going to take Bio M but I ended up taking Bio E!

Really/!?? Sweet! Thanks, yjlee! So I just have to power through the first section so I have time to decide…

it doesnt work that way itsin…you have to decide which one you are doing BEFORE the actual test…in the room before you start the test you will have to shade in a specific code for either E or M…now you could, after deciding to switch change the code to the one you decide but you have to make sure the proctor doesnt notice…
