???????????????????????????????

Drexel University, but from what I read some are not happy there. They are apparently generous with merit aid and they help get you a coop or something. You might check it out.

also might check out Fordham, and Pace and somebody suggested Indiana U which is supposed to be excellent for business.

can someone please go through my list and id matches safties etc.

anyone??!!?!??

Looking at your list I think you might want to check out some reach schools. I don't think you have any. I suppose you might say that American and NE are match/reaches, but I think they are more matches. I think that Bryant, UVermont, Umass and Quinnipiac are safeties. I would think that Bentley, American, NE are matches. I would investigate some reach schools unless you are happy with the schools you listed and don't want to apply to any reach schools.

Actually, I think NE is a reach for you, only because you are from Ma.

anyone else?

Here's my two cents:

American University...Match/Safety
Bentley College (EarlyD)...Safety
Bryant University...Safety
Northeastern University...Match/Reach
University of Vermont...Match
University of Massachusetts (Amherst)...Match/Safety
Quinnipiac University...Safety

BTW...I do like UMass, unlike a few posters, because you'll also be able to take classes at Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke, and Smith. All of them great NLACs. Northeastern is a bit harder to read, as I've had friends get accepted to BU, Babson, UVermont, etc...and not get into the school. They are trying to crack the top tier of USNews.

i'm sorry, maybe it's me, but from what i've heard of northeastern, i think it would be a good match, but definately not a reach... how about susquehanna, bu, fordham, clark university, ithica college (bit of a reach?)...

i dunno... from what i've heard of northeastern (not much, so bear with me) i don't think it would be a safety for you, but a good reach... some schools to consider are susquehanna, fordham, bu, ithica (bit of a reach?), clark university, syracuse (big emphasis on sports there, they'll love your 9 varsity letters), and penn state... hope i helped!

oops sry i submitted that 2x

more more please?

I have a good friend who is desperately trying to transfer out of Bryant right now. I wouldn't go so far as to consider Quinnipiac a reach, simply because they already have so many business applicants as well as New Englanders.

someone please gimme a list of matches etc

..............................................

You'll get in all your schools you listed in your first post. I would recommend you apply to some more prestigious. At Fordham you should be accepted too, their entering class has very bad statistics however their business program is strong. The number one choice if I was in your position would be University of Chicago, but you have to really impress them with essay and recomendations and make it clear how much you want to go there, you might have a 3/10 chance. I'm assuming you don't have any grade less than a B in your transcript else it would be difficult, there are not only good grades that will get you to a good business school, you would be surprised that if you have a business background in your family it will give you heads up against other applicants since in the end you'll be running their business : )

so you really think i have a shot at bentley? I would absolutely sell my soul to go there.

yea you have a shot. i would need to know your sat score to have a better idea but I would say unless your 1400 plus you have no chance at Babson. Bentley maybe a 1300 plus and Bryant 11 or 1200 plus. Your GPA is a 3.6 weighted which is like a 3.2 3.3 unweighted which is mediocre. your xtras are pretty good so that might help out.

Just based on your GPA ,Youre a lock at UVM, and Umass, and only them. I would say Quinnipiac and Bryant are the next level and they are probably exact matches. Then Bentley, American, and Northeastern are all slight reaches. Babsons a huge reach.

The 3 B's (Babson, Bentley, and Bryant) are known for producing very wealthy graduates because of their business reputation, and Bentley actually had more fortune 500 recruiters come last year than any of the Ivy's. youcouldnt go wrong going to any of them. Dont listen to other posters who say dont go there because they know someone who wants to transfer, but because at EVERY single school theres always people who want to transfer. Roughly 10%. I know many people who go to all 3 B's and most love it.

Indiana reqs for biz: 10% AND ACT of higher then 26 i think.
