Hey, I'm a junior and an international student studying in US.
I just got my PSAT score that I took in October, and i got a total of 198 (CR61, M77, WR60).I'm not sure if this is a decent score cuz my mom was pretty depressed that I didn't get 210. And I'm not gonna lie...I didn't prepare at all for PSAT (haven't even looked at any SAT words) and didn't really give a crap about it (I don't have US citizenship/residentship, so I'm not qualified for the award thing... so why care about it, right?) so I pretty much just took it because we had to take it in school. And I think I kinda gave up in the middle of the critical reading section cuz I was so tired. But after I got the score I DID CARE. I was pretty upset like my mom. I hoped I would get over 200 at least.

Anyways, I was planning to take the SAT in January, but the thing is I haven't really had time to start preparing for it yet!!! I know, I should have started preparing for SAT in sophomore year or at least during the summer vacation before junior year,
but I was so busy with school work, ecs, and during the summer I went to Harvard Summer Program.

My goal is to get over at least 2200, and I'm aiming for 2300 until the end of my junior year. I really want to get this test over with before I go up to senior year.
Maybe I'm expecting too much of me..

So, the thing is...
I have 2 questions:
1. Is it better to take the SAT in January? and cram like crazy? Or is it better to cram for the one in March? Or should I do both? (Cuz the collegeboard changed the rules.... does this mean that we could take as many tests as we want? and just choose the score that I want to send?)
2. How much score is possible to raise within 1month (If I decide to take it in Jan.)? within 3months? (if I decide to take it in Mar.)

Please help me... you'll be really saving my life...
