I got my scores back for my SAT 2s this morning. I studied hardcore for a week for both of them (not any longer as school/finals/APs) had just ended. I got a 770 in USH which I believe was decent enough and close to my expectation, but I’m shocked at my Biology-M score. I felt great about the exam going out of it, and when I confirmed and checked most of the answers of the harder questions with the students on the SAT Bio thread, I calculated myself missing about 9 and skipping 1 for a score of about 750. I was amazed when I saw that I got only a 660. Like I said, I was quite confident about the exam and I think I remember myself looking over my answers, but I’m not too sure I actually did. A 660 is about a 53 raw score while my predicted 740-750 is a 67. I really don’t see how there can be such a discrepancy. My parents, thankfully, said I should just study more, but I came off from AP Bio and Honors Bio and did really feel good about the test at the end.
I’m thinking perhaps I made a bubbling error (skipped one and filled it in with the question after) because I’ve never walked out of a test like that and expected something that I fell well underneath.
Thanks so much.
