I'm from Japan. And I plan to major in mathematics at an American university, hopefully one of the Ivies. While I know that colleges don't have any specific subject tests requirements for students who wish to enroll in the College of Arts and Sciences, but I wonder if there might be certain subject tests the colleges prefer? I think I will take Math 2, Biology, and World history; will any of these tests be counted against me (Like, people who are good in math are not supposed to take history because it's totally irrelevant)?

People have been suggesting that I take physics because it involves a lot of calculation. But I never took physics in school (it's not a compulsory course in my school)!!! But then majoring in mathematics doesn't need to know much physics anyway. So will not taking physics hurt my chances of being accepted? And do you guys think that the subject tests I plan to take are acceptable? Thanks a lot
