PLEASE HELP! totally my fault, i know!

<p>please dont laugh but i prob did the stupides thing tonight</p>

<p>i didnt realize that commonapp.org goes by eastern time so half of my submissions as listed as 1/2/2011 when they were due on 1/1/2011.
it allowed me to submit, but when i went back to the main page, it lists half of my submissions as 1/2/2011.
is it too late? will the colleges revoke my application? please help!</p>

<p>That’s a tough call but I’d call them and tell them what happened. I don’t think they will personally because they are all very lenient and understanding about the high stress life of applicants. Good luck and try not to worry about it. It’s out of your hands now. Best thing to do is call them first thing Monday when offices open.</p>

To Brown, Harvard, Princeton, New York University, UPenn, Duke
Does this honestly mean that the schools will not take the application?
It says Submitted 01/02/11 but I sent everything else 01/01/11 (the deadline)
Help!!! I’m from california so i didn’t know about the east coast deadline!</p>

<p>I’m from cali too! I’m totally freaking out! But after reading an entire night’s worth of posts and replies, etc., I’ve basically concluded that commonapp.org will “shut its doors” after each university’s grace period so if it let you submit, then I guess you’re fine. But I’m definately calling in each school on Monday to double check. Best of luck to you!</p>

<p>the way i see it at least, there’s not much of a difference between an app submitted 11:59est and one submitted 12:01 (or at most 2:59)pst, btw i’m also from california :D. it takes some time for them to process all the apps anyway, so i doubt they care as long as it’s at the admissions office once they start reading all the regular decision applications.</p>
