<p>this Spring semester I received my class grade of "D" in Astronomy today.... that I hope to retake it in summer if I can. I really tried my hardest on my final but still could not keep the C :'( i'm extremely sad..</p>
<p>Including that, I have two Cs and 3 Bs.. Will UCI revoke my admission because my GPA fell way below than I originally have?</p>
<p>I originally have a 2.9. Major is Film and media studies and i'm planning to change it to Economics.</p>
<p>What should I do?? i'm extremely worried and this makes me want to cry.
I don't know if i can try to challenge a grade change in my Sociology class that I got a 77% overall. I got solid Bs in all my tests including the finals. Missing one and a half of the write up assignment.. </p>
<p>My sociology professor said that she sees no grounds to raise my grade because missing one and a half of assignments, and that I could always challenge to change the grade at the chair of the Department of Behavioral Sciences...
What should i do?? :(((( please help!!

<p>Since your GPA is below 3.0…your chances of getting revoked is very high…</p>
<p>formomilan, you sound like you are a transfer student which has different conditions than freshman.</p>
<p>Did you login to your UCI account to see if there is anything there? For freshmans, they are clearly listed as posted by southkoreans.</p>
<p>Did you try emailing or calling UCI?</p>
<p>Contact them, check what the condistions are and if you don’t meet them, ask them what you can do about it.</p>

<p>Maintain a minimum overall transfer grade point average of 2.70.</p>
<p>Have a 2.0 GPA, or higher, in your last regular term (excluding summer session) at the last school(s) attended, and be in good standing.</p>
<p>I calculated my overall UC transferable units and grades including the D, i got a 2.78… it is kind of relief that is still above 2.7 OVERALL… I think astronomy is a course to fulfill my IGETC physical science, will this effect my admission? I’m also signing up to retake the course so that I can replace the D. I haven’t called them yet, i’m really scared. I will call them as soon as I have all my grades in… Thank you…</p>
