I committed to UCSD as a Neuroscience undergrad major, & I recently received an acceptance from Berkeley off of the wait list, as a Neurobiology undergrad major. I was set on going to UCSD, but now I am torn between the two & I only have 4 days left to respond to Berkeley’s acceptance! I primarily want to conduct research as a career in Neuroscience. Which school would be the better option for my major? Also, would I be able to still receive the same undergrad research opportunities at Cal, as UCSD? Also, does it really matter if I go to either for my undergrads? In other words, wouldn’t it matter more where I went for grad school? Lastly, which college would provide a better “college experience”?
