<p>Would taking an SAT II and an AP test in the same subject be a good idea? I'm thinking about taking both AP world and SAT II world history, in order to fulfill my second requirement. However, since I'm already taking AP world, would that be cheating the system?</p>

<p>Cheating would be quite an exaggeration. There is nothing wrong with that decision especially if world history interests you so much. That would be a logical choice, in fact. However, don’t forget that these are two different tests, so studying just for the AP might not prepare you well enough for the SAT.</p>
<p>how is it cheating…? That’s actually what most people do. Take the AP test and SAT at the same time, so you don’t have to study again.</p>
