I do not think you are a ■■■■■. I think you are very hard working and clearly extremely bright. That said, so are many, many applicants trying to gain admission to the top schools. I think you have a wonderful chance, but to repeat someone else’s question, why on earth are you trying to repeat 9th grade?<br>

<p>I would like to repeat 9th grade to gain an advantage sports wise. This gives me another year to improve my fundamentals and increase my strength. Hopefully, I will also have more varsity experience before I’m thinking about college. Do you think that this is an accepted reason to repeat, or do you think I should just continue next year with tenth grade?</p>
<p>Not really. If you were repeating sophomore or junior year that would be more understandable.</p>
