Essays: well, i thought they were pretty good. i love writing, and am pretty good at it. one talked about how i learned responsibility from an early age when my little sister fell off her bike and broke her arm, the other is really just more descriptive and talks about sailing and my emotions while i'm doing the things i love.
Peer Rec: one of my best friends wrote it, she's a great writer, i haven't read it but i trust she did a really good job
Teacher Rec: i had two close teachers write them, they are well known to write amazing recs and i loved both of them (and they loved me) so i can't see how they would be anything but good. i haven't read them. my college counselor also wrote a rec, she only had good things to say.

Hook: i suppose this is my problem. i don't really have one? i am just a white girl from a private school in virginia, which unfortunately seems to be working against me. i would hopefully sail, i know the sailing coach on a name-to-name basis.

please please help!! thanks :)

yeahhh a 2190 does not "suck" in any circle haha, especially if you arent planning on going into a math oriented major. on this website, a 2190 is nothing new but compared to the 99% of students out there who would consider that score a miracle, id say those scores are great. other than that, you seem to be really well rounded (a ridiculous amounts of extracurriculars). the only possible problem is that the admissions counselors might see that as not been very focused, but who knows. overall youre chances are pretty good i think, take a break lol

also, whats a "Neurosurgery Mission Trip" haha

You are a strong applicant.
Good luck.

Assistant Optimist Coach! Didn't it teach you to be optimistic.
