Please please help! I forgot to submit my ED agreement form.

I forgot to submit my ED agreement form for Tufts which was due on November 1st. I called the admissions office and the receptionist told me that I could fax it over. However she was unable to say how this would affect my application, or if Tufts would even accept it!! All of my other stuff is in on time.

Help! Will this hurt my chances? What will happen?!

It probably isn't a big deal. You're application was on time, that's the big thing...

Of course she can't tell you. However, logic would tell you that it's in their interest to evaluate you according to the ED rules... they're courting you as well and want to make a favorable impression on you. Relax

are you sure?!!

nobody knows how this is dealth with? x.x

...and then people wonder why heart disease is number 1 killer? This is why. People worry too much.

Anomaly09: What do you think is the PURPOSE of an admissions office? To have a raging bonfire just outside the mail room for every ED app that isn't postmarked by Nov 1? To (according to some nervous Yale SCEA applicants) to toss their envelopes that didn't have EA checked off? To "blackball" every applicant whose teacher recs/transcripts/GC forms didn't arrive fifteen weeks ago?

C'mon. They're human and they want to serve their school by working hard and getting a look at the best pool of applicants possible. Your simple oversight means nothing.

Now go relax or stay up the next five days continually checking this thread. Me? I'm going to put my kids to bed.
