Please please help me, so i can sleep peacefully tonight

Ok, I have a situation. I found out yesterday that I have been accepted to UC Davis, and I was very happy. Then I just found out that if we took a class at a community college, we have to send in a separate transcript from the community college to the UC.(i think) The problem is that I took two classes at the communtiy college, and in my application I only told them about one which was Algebra II because that was the one I had told my high school about.

I had taken precal at the community college and recived a D, but I never said that in my app because it wasn’t on my high shcool transcript. I did take precal during my high school year and got a B. When I send them my community college transcript, and they see that I never told them about the D i got in precal at the community college, will they rovoke my acceptance. Am I in trouble? Please help me…i can’t stop thinking about it. :frowning:

I doubt that this would be a concern. You took the class again and got a B, so I wouldn't worry. Your acceptance won't be revoked.

yes thanks you so much, you told me exactly what I needed to hear. That reduces some stress.

although more responses would be appreciated.....

the best thing you can do, and the only thing that will be accurate, is to get on the phone w/someone at Davis when possible to explain your situation. and don't worry too much before then :)

Exactly, you redeemed yourself by obtaining a B in your high school precal course. Have fun at Davis =)!

generally, UC"s take the higher grade. its awkward that your h/s grade is higher than the community college grade (most go to community college to make up their failed high school classes), but i do know friends who took classes at community college first to get a head start on the subject before they retook it at high school. you should be okay.

i think when it comes to community college classes, its just a matter of transferring credit anyway, not so much admissions.
