My daughter got deferred at a top school ( with others being rejected ) with stats lower than other posters ...why ? who knows..could it be great recs, impressive community service or luck of the draw ?</p>

<p>Your class rank is excellent. You have IS status. Your diving experience could be a strong advantage. Some of your awards seem interesting--I don't really know what they are, but seem interesting. Your SAT's are low, but counter-balanced by your rank and EC's, and LOR's, and essays>>I think you have a strong chance.
