Please Please Please Rate my chance for RD

<p>OK so i decided kinda late in the process that princeton is my top choice and I know RD is basically a drawing out of a hat...., but even if i had wanted to do ED i couldnt have because of the whole money thing and I need to go to a school that will give me money. Anyway Pton is my top choice so Id appreciate it if a couple people could assess my chances. Thanx, ok so my stats
Umm </p>

<p>I wanna doe BSE, chemical engineering</p>

<p>SAT's 1530, verbal 800, math 730
SATII's 710 History, 750 Chem, 790 Math IIC, and a dismal 680 writing
White female
public school ranked 1/400 or around 400
4.0 GPA (school does not weigh)
AP US - 4, AP Chem 4, AP Calc BC 5, currently inAP Bio and AP Lit, only have 4 credits this year because i have a half day internship at the National Cancer Institute, all other classes I have taken have been honors</p>

Ballet 5 times a week major commitment biggest of my EC
Performed with in various ballets w/ MD regional ballet</p>

<p>Sounds good to me; you have the woman-in-science card AND the Jewish card, so that's excellent, and your stats are comparable to mine and I got in ED (but not for BSE - I specified Math)</p>

<p>sounds good to me, similar stats to mine, and i had the whole science thing going and i was accepted ED. i did have an athletic coach weight tho :/</p>

<p>thanks everyone, and you see to my parents, schools with cheaper prices that they kno I will get into seem more attractive.....and i have a full tuition scholarship to UPitt so thats where they would prefer i went....but its definitly not one of my top choices</p>

<p>You definitely have a good shot, but do you have any leadership positions? It would help if you do, but if you don't have any you still have a chance.</p>

As for our friend the sheep kounter, you're a girl-engineer which can't hurt. Getting a 4 on AP chem wont help, but regardless things are looking good for you.
As for "rate my chances" in general, none of us have a clue, so just apply and move on.</p>

<p>a minority, but an over, not under, represented one, I've actually heard it can count against you. Other than that, I'm also a ballet dancer and had some similar scores/ec's as you (I'm an english/humanities person though) and got in ED, so there's definitely hope. Good luck!</p>

<p>You'll have roughly a 10% chance, just like everyone else applying RD.
The (I'm guessing here) lack of leadership won't help, but the fact that you are a female engineering candidate will.</p>

Decent, not perfect stats... </p>

<p>i just don't know.. but people with stats like yours who get in either apply ED or have an irresistible hook (i mean like IMO, Tchaikovsky international, Intel, etc.)</p>
