Hi CC community,
I'm intending to apply for Mount Holyoke ED this year. I'm an intenational student from Vietnam.
Here are my scores:
GPA: 3.56 (my scores increase annually)
SAT 2150 (M:790, Wr:780, CR:580) my CR is rather dull
TOEFL (intented score): 110 - I will take TOEFL in September
I will also take SAT II in Math course II and Physics, and maybe Chemistry but I dont think I will have more time.
My activities is competitive, I think so. I hold important position in all activities I've participated in.
Please please rate my chance.
Thank you guys very much :D

You have a good chance, but defnitely work on that TOEFL and CR if you can. Being a critical reader is important when you get to the college level, and understanding and looking deeper at the material will be very important. For instance, not to be mean, but in the post above you have a few grammatical errors, but I have no doubt in your ability to succeed if you work hard. Good luck!

This is on the internet, I’m sure OP didn’t try to correct for grammar here and was probably too lazy to check/write carefully. If you notice, she got a 780 on the writing portion.
I’d say work on the CR though. Good luck.

My teacher said that a good essay and a high TOEFL score could compensate for my low CR. Do you guys think so?
