Hey all,

I took the SAT today, and I'm feeling uneasy about my math score. I totally bombed the fill and the blanks and I am expecting around 12-14 wrong in math total. In addition, my essay was great-but I did not finish. No concluding sentence or anything....the rest of the writing sections went great though. But fortunately I believed I smoked the reading section, probably around a 700 or a tad lower. Now the question is do I keep or cancel by scores. Unfortunately, my mom has been sick (with cancer), and I haven't really thought of the SAT's until I took them today. I know I will do much better in October regardless if I keep them or not. By the way I am looking at the top schools-Cornell, UVA, Gtown etc.

Thank you so much!

my honost opinion unless you feel ur cr wAs unusually high , then cAncel , if not i would cAncle , but keep in mid it's only superscore thAt counts.

p.s sorry About your mom ,i hope things tunr out wsoem for you guys and she gets healthy As soon As possible.

^ you missed an "A."

If you're sure you got that many wrong, then cancel -- and I mean absolutely sure. I came back from the SATs feeling like utter crap and I ended up fine. Wait a day or two to calm down from the actual testing jitters, and then make your decision. I'm sorry about your mother, and I hope things get better.

no point really in canceling, you may have done really well in CR, and if you're planning on taking them again you can improve the other sections. you may want to cancel where you send your scores to. theres no point showing them scores you're not confident about, and they'll see your superscore when you apply anyway.

Well if this is your 1st or 2nd attempt, don't cancel. I mean, you did spend almost four hours on it. Just do well in October.

Mavman, you missed the A's in unusuAlly and heAlthy.

Wait, you got like 10-14 wrong? With the curve and all thats still probably way over a 600. Dude you gotta relax.
