<p>Hi Mobs, I don't think I'd be much help as I don't have a clue as to what should be contained in a successful UC appeal. My 2 cents is that your GC should be involved in this. Over the years, s/he must have gained an idea of what is and is not effective and this is the moment for his or her expertise to kick in and work for you. You might also look for other people on CC who have appealed UC successfully or unsuccessfully and see if they'll share what they wrote. If that doesn't work, not sure what your financial situation is, but especially if you're in California, I'm sure that private college counselors deal with this all the time, and it might be worth a quick visit to one to help you formulate the best possible letter.
