i listed 12th grade ones that I know I'm doing.

sorry, this was really long. I don't know what's really important or not so I just listed anything that came into my mind. thanks for reading.
Please give me any advices you want to give. Thanks =)

I have one more question.
My best friend (she's rank 1 btw) always told me how i was stupid to take such a non academic course as yearbook in my junior year. She's like it's going to lower your UWGPA and it's so unacademic... That really bugged me but I really wanted to do yearbook using my photoshop skills so I did yearbook and I'm doing it again in my senior year. Is yearbook so significantly bad for your transcript?

Being asian will hurt your chances. Being a girl, however, will up your chances at the tech schools.

Beyond that, you've prepared very well. I think you'll almost definitely get UCSD and UChicago. And, if you're in state, UCLA and Berkeley are also good bets.

Beyond that, everything is a reach for everybody so there's not telling.

sorry, I'm new to this website and I'm not used to the temrs yet.

Does "reach" mean
"I don't know?"
"you are hopeless"
"maybe"

A reach school is a school that you are not likely to get into statistically based on your scores and the admit rate, average scores of the school.

Basically only about 10% of applicants get in to these super selective schools, so your shot is just as good as/not significantly better than the majority of the qualified applicants. Basically it's a crapshoot.

Does that clear things up?

Thanks for explaining. You are really nice =)
I have one younger brother who's doing similar thing with me.
What should I have done differently or better? What am I lacking the most?

argh.. I'm writing down too many comments.
I noticed that a lot of people are writing down NHS and CSF stuff.
Are they significant? because in our school, you get in if you have more than 3 As for CSF or GPA higher than 3.5 for NHS.

bump bump bump

You're not really lacking anything. ses was just saying that the Ivies etc are reaches for everyone and that those with phenomenal stats still have extreme difficulty. You're stats are as good as anyone's so its just a matter of writing detailed and thorough essays and choosing the right people for recommendations. I'm sure you'll get into at least a few top schools.
