Please recommend colleges to me?

I’m a junior trying to make a list of colleges, and hoping for some input on which schools to consider applying to next year!

I’ll probably major in biology, so I hope to go to a school with a strong biology (or premed, nursing, or psychology) department. My GPA and scores are ok, but my EC’s etc. are kind of weak.

I’m hoping to stay in California for college, but I’ve been looking at colleges in Washington, the East Coast and Texas too. I’d consider Midwest colleges, but it’s not my first choice for location.

How are your financials? Will your parents be able to pay full tuition at a private school, or are state schools better for y’all?

They can afford private schools, but would only be willing to pay full price if it was highly ranked

You’d be wise just to stay in California, which has numerous excellent schools you can apply to. I don’t see much sense in going out of state and having to pay a lot more money.

Push hard for the remainder of your time in high school and raise that GPA as much as you can.
