Hi, as the title already says, I’m looking for schools with construction management major. I have gone through most of schools in US news but there are not many schools offering construction management major. I want to get some of your suggestion please help me
Thank you <3
How about civil engineering with business?
For construction management without the broader engineering degree, I found these, to start:
Pratt

NYC College of Technology
http://www.citytech.cuny.edu/academics/deptsites/constructiontech/
ITT Technical Institute

Everglades University

Purdue

Pennsylvania College of Technology

You have two threads on this: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/college-search-selection/1819305-please-recommend-me-with-schools-that-offer-construction-management-major.html
Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas is a great school and they have a great construction management degree program too
Here in our little corner: Washington State University and Central Washington University; I know graduates of both. Many large colleges will have something similar.
Wentworth Institute in Boston has construction management I beiieve.
Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Cal Poly Pomona for Construction Management. San Diego State for Construction Engineering. All schools in California.
Isn’t Construction Management typically a Masters program after completing a Civil Engineering undergrad?
Michigan State has Construction Management but OP what region of the country, what price point are questions to answer otherwise we will be blindly lobbing names of colleges all night.
One you’ve probably never heard of:
Central Connecticut State University
The majority of construction firms in the area hire from this school, internships are available in the local area. I have known many graduates of this program and they all seem to get good jobs after graduation. The market is hot right now but can be volatile (i.e. 2008).
University of Florida (M.E. Rinker, Sr. School of Construction Management) and Florida International University, Engineering Center - OHL School of Construction. Check other Florida 4-year Universities have School of Construction Management. A Civil Engineering or an Architectural Degree are probably more challenging/marketable and are involved in Construction Management.
VA Tech.
Clemson University has a Construction Management undergrad and grad
Texas A&M
Florida Tech
The University of Washington has an entire Department of Construction Management.
@momofthreeboys hi. thank you for your suggestion. I’m actually an international student so apart from choosing a good school, I’m pretty concerned about the scholarships and financial aid. I actually had a look over Michigan State uni but it’s budget for international student is quite tight so…
How much can you afford to pay each year for 4 to 5 years?
@Madison85 I can only contribute 15000$/year. My weakness is SAT score. I’ve got a pretty good GPA (approximately 3.8/4), my essay is also fine so I’m looking for school that…puts more emphasize on essay than on SAT score
Bradley University in Illinois offers a Construction major in its engineering school. Cost of tuition plus room and board is around $40K which is lower than most US private colleges. Financial aid and merit aid are offered.
