PLEASE REPLY, UC Davis but a UC in general?

My top choice is UC Davis but a UC in general.

Sophomore Year: Class (Grade)

AP World (B)
Chemistry (B)
Honors English 2 (A)
Honors Alg. 2 (B)

Other classes:
Language
Ethnic Studies

Junior Year so far: Class ( Esitmated Grades)

AP Lang (B)
AP Bio (D, with a small chance to still raise it up to a C)
Honors Pre-Cal (C)
US History (A)

Other Classes:
Digital Photography
Language

Sophmore GPA:3.9
Estimated Junior GPA: 3.5-3.67
UC weighted GPA: 3.9 Without this semester
PSAT: 1700 (1 try)

I know none of my tests are present at the moment, but am I going on the right track for a UC College?

Thanks

It’s too early to really give you a good admissions chance, but your classes seem to be on the right track. Your grades, however, are not. UC’s don’t want to see "C"s, or even a bunch of "B"s, you might as well be taking the college prep versions of your classes. If you can’t handle those AP and honors courses, (no one’s going to fault you for that, it’s tough!), then take the regular versions, keep your schedule full of academic classes your senior year, and start getting some AWESOME extra-curriculars and volunteer experience. If you can find a balance between those stressful APs and Honors (maybe drop one and keep the other) and start volunteering and studying real hard for the SAT, I think you’d increase your chances.
