please reply::what are my UC chances?

<p>hey, thanks for looking. I am an Indian residing in california. My grades and ACT scores arent great, so I'm scared about not getting into many UC's.</p>

<p>My UC GPA is 3.6
My ACT score is 28 at one sitting (equivalent to 1280 SAT)
Im taking the SAT II's (writing, IIC, and physics) on November 6th.
I've always taken the hardest schedule at school.
ALSO, I've taken classes at the local community college: Intro to Business, Pyschology, and Intro to Film. I earned A's in all those.
Do those count toward my UC gpa if they are transferable to UC's?</p>

<p>EC's:
*president of the Sacramento delegation for Youth and Government (a statewide model legislature and court program)
*student in CIVITAS ACADEMY, a four year political science program. I took a class every year in addition to doing community service, an internship, and a senior project.
*200 hours community service
*125 hours interning at a health clinic
*varsity golf 11th and 12th grade
*editor and computer guy of the yearbook 11th and 12th grade</p>

<p>I plan on having awesome personal statements.</p>

<p>What do you guys think? Will I get into UCSD, UCD, UCSB?</p>

<p>It will really depend on your SATII's.</p>

<p>if you average a 700 on the three tests, you're looking pretty good for ucsd, davis and sb..</p>

<p>You probably need to look at Merced, Riverside for relative safties and maybe Irvine and Santa Cruz as reach/match.</p>

<p>why is rahul a reach for santa cruz and irvine ?! .....i have worst stats and im hoping for berkeley and ucla....well his gpa is low kinda.....and SAT I but other than that....it should be good ...good EC !</p>

<p>but i have high doubts about CAL and LA. My brother is a freshman at UCB, and he didn't have THAT much greater then me, except for a 1430 SAT and 800 IIC, 800 Chem, 800 Bio, 750 writing. so, i gotta ball up the SAT II's...</p>

<p>I'm still going to apply to all the UC's no matter what.</p>

<p>Take a look at the averages for in state kids at UCB and UCLA. Theses are averages, which include athletes and other interest groups of which there are many despite the fact that AA isn't supposed to take place at UC. Even with those groups, the average weighted GPA is 4.0 plus at the higher UCs! UCB and UCLA turn down many 4.0/1400s now. The approach is highly quantative with no recs and brief reading of apps. If you are white/asian and below the averages chances are very slim.</p>
