Please weigh my chances

Hi well I have a question regarding the probability of me getting admitted to this great school.
I am an Intl student from India.

The main point is that I need finaid.

My stats are as follows:

GPA - 3.9/4 (school does not weight as every student takes the same difficulty)
SAT I - 2320
maths-800

writing-770
SAT II
Math II -800
Physics -800
Chemistry -780

school does not rank but top 2% (as told by counsellor)
Will get good recco’s as I have good relationship with my teachers.

So can anyone tell me what would be my chances if I were RD. I would really appreciate it.

Instead of putting this same post in every Ivy League forum, just use the admissions forum or something.

Does everyone who applies to Brown really have these stats?
I was so happy with my 2100 SAT score until I started reading these posts.

don't worry about sat's. just write an amazing amazing essay. it's very possible to get in with a 2100 if you kill it on most everything else. good luck.

ya... i felt pretty inferior when looking at everyone's stats when i first came to this board. thus, i never posted mine :)... also consider that people with high stats will post b/c others [like me] may feel intimidated :)

if it makes u feel better... [for the class of 2009, at least] they said that they look at standardized test scores last. i don't believe that one test is an accurate or fair measurement of ur capabilities.

This forum would be so much better sans the super-uber-overacheivers who fret about not getting into an ivy league school just because they have a 2390 and 3.99 GPA.

To the OP, you will certainly get into a good school, and if per chance you don't, you'll still have a good time wherever you end up. Chill out.

Your best bet is to bank on outside scholarships. Most of the internationals I've dealt with are loaded, and don't have to deal with financial need. That being said, it's very hard to get financial aid as an international.

Jnatkins, are you serious? All Ivies are need-blind and their fin.aid are all need-based. They have enough sources for all their students to live comfortably until they start paying back;)

But are all ivies need-blind for internationals? And do they guarantee to meet 100% need? Fin aid operates completely differently for internationals.

Looks like I was sort of wrong...The financial aid site says that they meet 100% need for internationals but they admit them need-aware
